Summer 2 Week 4

We had so much fun on our trip to Whitehough. We toasted marshmallows on a fire, went on a bug hunt, participated in some orienteering and played on the low ropes.

We painted dinosaurs.

Some dinosaurs broke into our classroom and made a mess!

We have been looking at using a number line in maths.

The Pre-School children sequenced the story of the ‘The Train Ride’.

We talked about how to get the dinosaurs out of the ice!

We have been testing different containers to see which would make the best boats.

We thanked God for our wonderful families in our collective worship.

Summer 2 Week 3

We have been looking at parts of a pirate ship. We drew pictures of pirate ships and labelled them.

In maths, we have been looking at odd and even numbers.

Mr Dempsey came in to talk about his job as a train driver. We learnt a lot about his role and how to keep safe! He also read us a story and brought us some biscuits!

Blackbeard the pirate stole our treasure! We were happy when we found it by following our treasure maps.

The Reception children enjoyed their visit to church to see Father Gerard and Monica. We looked at the religious objects in the church such as the tabernacle and alter and sang some songs.
