Autumn 1 Week 2- Our Senses

We enjoyed our first PE lesson. We practised jumping.

We enjoyed playing outside in the sun!

Reception looked at their sense of touch. They described what they could feel in the feely bag.

We enjoy playing in continuous provision.

We looked at the sense of taste. We tasted dark chocolate (bitter), lemon juice (sour), crisps (salty) jam (sweet).

The Pre-School children sang ‘5 Little Speckled Frogs’.

Reception enjoyed their first PE lesson with Mr Lydbird.

The reception children looked at parts of the body. They drew around a child and then labelled the body.

We used our sense of smell to smell different things such as toothpaste and a candle.

The Pre-School children have been practising their fine motor skills.

We have enjoyed doing some gardening!

In RE, we painted pictures of God’s creations.

Cuddly Jesus welcomed us into Class 1.
